Meet Becca
Building a size-inclusive clothing business focused on community, ethical sourcing, and curated style boxes for professional women in Seattle, with in-person styling appointments at our Ballard studio.

My Story
Hi! I'm Becca, and I'm building Open Weave because I believe professional women deserve better clothing options. After years of seeing how underserved the plus-size market is in Seattle, I decided to create a different kind of shopping experience.
Open Weave was born from a simple observation: most plus-sized women report having trouble finding clothing in their size, and only 8% of retail stores carry plus-size clothes in-store. I wanted to change that by creating a community-focused business that centers the experience of women with larger bodies.
I'm passionate about ethical fashion, inclusivity, and building a local business that serves the Seattle community. We're starting with pop-up shops, markets, and style boxes, with the goal of establishing a permanent retail location that makes plus-sized clothing a priority, not an afterthought.
Our Approach
Community First
We're building relationships through in-person shopping, pop-up events, and online community. This isn't just retail—it's about creating connections in the Seattle area and the greater plus-size community.
Size-Inclusive Focus
We carry sizes XL-3X with plans to expand further. Plus-sized clothing isn't an afterthought—it's front and center in our displays and marketing.
Ethical Sourcing
We partner with ethical manufacturers and curate thrift finds to offer both new and vintage clothing that aligns with your values. Returns are resold, donated, or recycled—never sent to landfills.

Our Values
Inclusivity
We celebrate every body type and believe that fashion should make you feel confident and beautiful, regardless of size or shape.
Sustainability
We're committed to ethical fashion that respects our planet and the people who make our clothes.
Community
We believe in building meaningful relationships and creating a supportive community of confident women.
