About Open Weave
A size-inclusive, femme-focused clothing business focused on community, ethical sourcing, and curated style experiences for professional folks in Seattle. We welcome customers of all gender identities and body types who appreciate femme aesthetics.

Our Story
Open Weave started with a simple goal:
To make shopping better for women over size 14 in Seattle.
I was tired of buying all my clothes online—never quite sure how something would fit, or if the quality would hold up once it arrived. I didn’t want to contribute to landfill waste with endless returns, but I also didn’t want to keep clothes that didn’t work. Like so many others with hard-to-fit bodies, I ended up doing a lot of extra work just to feel good in my clothes.
That’s where Open Weave comes in. If you're also done with the frustrating online shopping experience, think of me as your friend with connections in the clothing world. I seek out high-quality, size-inclusive fashion from sustainable brands, indie designers, and curated thrift collections—so you can find something that feels like you without the hassle.
In 2025, Open Weave is pivoting to custom style boxes, along with in-person shopping at our Seattle studio. When you order a box, you’ll have the chance to try everything on before committing. Anything you return—using our pre-paid envelope—will be reused or resold responsibly, never sent to a landfill.

About Becca
Hi! I'm Becca, and I'm building Open Weave because I believe professional women deserve better clothing options. After years of seeing how underserved the plus-size market is in Seattle, I decided to create a different kind of shopping experience.
Open Weave was born from a simple observation: most plus-sized women report having trouble finding clothing in their size, and only 8% of retail stores carry plus-size clothes in-store. I wanted to change that by creating a community-focused business that centers the experience of women with larger bodies.
I'm passionate about ethical fashion, inclusivity, and building a local business that serves the Seattle community. We're starting with pop-up shops, markets, and style boxes, with the goal of establishing a permanent retail location that makes plus-sized clothing a priority, not an afterthought.
